Powder Mountain
Website and brand evolution
Once considered an under-the-radar-gem, Powder Mountain has evolved rapidly following its recent acquisition. With upgrades and expansion throughout the mountain and a new vision to balance its rugged terrain and unfussy-ness with a first of its kind outdoor art program, the Utah resort is now regarded as a premier destination for ski enthusiasts across the world. The Powder team partnered with Mega to reimagine the resort’s digital experience in order to reflect its distinct offering and world-class aspirations.
The goal was to create a modern, visually stunning website that captures the essence of the resort, enhances user experience, and drives increased engagement and ticket sales.
Striking Clarity
Our design was built to reflect the open and uncluttered experience of Powder Mountain with immersive imagery balanced by a clean and functional user interface that makes information easily accessible while giving visitors a sense of what it feels like to visit.
Setting the Tone
To accompany the launch of the new website, we developed an OOH campaign and messaging strategy to reintroduce the resort. The campaign emphasized Powder Mountain’s unique offering of small crowds and vast skiable terrain, communicating the unique experience that sets it apart from more crowded resorts. The tone consistently conveyed a sense of irreverence and adventure to resonate with ski enthusiasts seeking a distinctive, crowd-free experience.
Skylodge Visual Identity
Skylodge is the 5,500-square-foot epicenter of the Powder Mountain community. Located at an elevation of 8,900 feet, its geometric layout provides stunning mountain views to accompany a luxurious après-ski experience.
We crafted a new identity for the lodge that aligned with the building’s striking high-end architecture and the resort’s world-class aspirations. Elegant design elements and refined typography reflect the luxurious and sophisticated essence of space designed by Skylab Architecture.
