Environmental Brand Designer

You’re someone who understands how to take a brand story and express it within the physical world. You’re naturally curious about architecture, furniture, materials, lighting… etc. You’re both a conceptual dreamer – and also a pragmatic maker that gets how ideas get made.
Versatility in this role is bridging brand thinking into something that can be experienced in the physical world – whether it be retail spaces, brand activations, packaging, moment-making stunts and the like.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
- 3+ years experience in an agency setting as Environmental Designer (or equivalent role).
- Fluent with relevant 3D and 2D environmental design tools. Sketchup is mandatory for modeling, rendering/visualizations via tools like Enscape, V-Ray, Blender…etc.
- Ability to document design work with appropriate specs into hand-off ready decks.
- A critical thinker bringing a distinct point of view that challenges and inspires us all to be better.
- Solid communicator that can clearly frame up and share ideas internally and when delivering to clients.
- Self-motivated to grow – actively seeking ‘better’ through new skills, tools and experiences.

- Work closely with your Creative Director to become a key driver of any project you’re working on
- Maintain a level of creative excellence strategically and executionally
- Work well with your program and account managers to help define and then deliver within the parameters of any team project (time, scope, resource)
- Be responsible for the quality and completeness of any work that you and your team put out into the world
- Be an antenna for outside inspiration, bringing new thinking & ideas into the studio

Studio Mega believes strongly in the power of in-person creative collaboration and shared culture. This role will work onsite at the Studio Mega office in Portland, Oregon. The Studio Mega team works a hybrid in office model with the team onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
