Katalyst Fitness
Katalyst is a fitness/technology startup out of Seattle WA, that utilizes full body EMS (Electronic Muscle Stimulation) workouts– pairing proven science with fitness expertise to unlock, harness & amplify the human body's full potential.
They came to us with an amazing product but were looking to create a great brand. To help them, we worked closely with leadership to develop a solid strategic foundation, brand identity, and environmental design direction that was built to support them as their company grew.

Living on the grid
We worked closely with the Katalyst's team to develop a brand platform to guide all creative decisions around identity and experience. From there, we developed an identity system built around a visual representation of an electrical 'pulse'. We used an overlaying grid to represent the science and structure for our graphic system to live, creating an informative and expressive graphic language.
We also helped set the initial environmental and interior design direction for Katalyst's gym locations. After launching an initial beta space, they are now in the process of building several new gym locations within the greater Seattle area with plans for a national expansion within the coming year.
