Listed below are a few specifics we expect from the Sr Digital Designer role, along with a few general traits that any of our most experienced team members draw upon, regardless of their particular function.

We’ll ask for you to…

  • Work directly with clients and a team of project managers, designers, developers and copywriters.
  • Work iteratively on initial concepts, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
  • Build a trusted relationship with clients and gain an understanding of their clients long and short-term needs and business goals.
  • Thrive when solving complex UI/UX problems to deliver best-in-class visual design solutions with intent.
  • Design responsive experiences that are fully accessible and are equally engaging on mobile and desktop devices.
  • Work within your discipline to craft innovative solutions that solve our partners' challenges.
  • Set a standard of creative and technical excellence within the studio, strategically and executionally.
  • Bring a unique perspective to digital design and always be on the lookout for new trends, insights and have a perspective on industry direction.
  • Help instigate collaboration and proactively drive positive studio culture.

We’ll look to you to be…

  • 4+ years into your experience of proven digital design experience.
  • A critical thinker bringing a distinct point of view that challenges and inspires us all to be a better studio.
  • Fully aware of the needs of our clients, their ask, and how to flexibly work with them to deliver transcendent solutions.
  • An excellent communicator and presenter, making the complex feel simple by providing distinct and meaningful solutions for our partners.
  • Exceptional at time management to juggle multiple tasks and get things done on time.
  • A positive force on your team to keep their eye on the prize while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • A willing teacher, ready to share your knowledge and experience with your team
  • Fluent with UI design tools like Figma and experience with prototyping tools such as Framer.
  • Experienced working directly with developers and following best practices for design handoff.

This role will work onsite at the Studio Mega office in Portland, Oregon. Studio Mega is currently operating within a hybrid work model. While there are no mandates in place, we are currently requesting employees spend at least 2 days per week in the office. These terms are subject to change at any time.
